Summer is a wonderful time to come to the Mountains.

The mountain views and the refreshing mountain air, the walks, mountain biking, fishing, para-penting and climbing are just some of the activities available in the immediate and near vicinity.

Many people are drawn to the area for popular music festivals nearby in both Verbier and spectacular Montreux situated on the shores of lake Geneva.

The Verbier Music Festival will run from 18th July to 3rd August 2008.

Montreux has a number of music events and is under an hour away by car. The jazz festival runs from 4th July to 19th July 2008.

Montreux’s other big jamboree is late April’s Golden Rose Television Festival, (Rose d’Or), for which swarms of media folk descend on the town.
